Where's the Crook?
Why We Picked Where's the Crook?
Where's the Crook? is one of those puzzles that looks finished long before it is, because the board and the space left on it leaves gaps you cannot see yet. It is quiet in a way that most of this library is not. Most puzzles here reward a first pass that maps the board; the second pass is where mistakes get made. The reason it stayed is simple: a run ends in a way you can explain to yourself. On the record: 89 of 172 on the puzzle shelf, 3.8 out of 5 from 65 ratings, and 2,500 plays.
How to Play
The page documents very little, so these are the things worth knowing before you spend time on it:
- Touch-only games are worth trying on a phone when the mouse does nothing on desktop.
- Finish the board in front of you; nothing in it is timed unless the game puts a clock on screen.
- Symmetry looks tidy and usually costs you a corner.
Editor’s Note
If you want a puzzle that congratulates you, this is not it. If you want one that stays quiet, it is. The interface is one screen, the rules are visible on it, and nothing has to be remembered from a previous visit.

A puzzle game in the genre of "Hidden objects". Help find the Crook, who stole the bag from the unfortunate lady. Play with friends or the whole family. Game inspired by the book and animated series "Where's Wally?" (author Martin Handford, 1987). You need to find the Crook, who hid in the crowd and reach level 30. With each level, the passage of the game becomes faster and more difficult. The game trains visual perception and quick thinking. Good luck finding the Crook!
