Why We Picked Touba
Small, quick and forgiving on the retry, Touba is the shelf's answer to a ten-minute break. It comes down to collecting what the level asks for while staying out of trouble, and the game rarely asks you to do the same thing twice. There is no inventory screen to learn, which keeps the pace up. It stays because the checkpoints respect your time and the levels respect your intelligence. The page's own numbers: 182 of 183 on the adventure shelf, 5.0 out of 5 from 2 ratings, and 143 plays.
How to Play
Three things decide whether a run here goes well:
- Directional keys only, which keeps the hand in one place.
- Pick up everything the level asks for and leave the rest alone.
- Use the fullscreen view; the edges of the level matter as much as the middle.
Editor’s Note
If you want a story, the text is thin; if you want a place to move through, it is enough. Fullscreen matters more here than on the adventure shelf, since the visible edge of the level is information.
