Stickman Huggy 2
Why We Picked Stickman Huggy 2
Stickman Huggy 2 keeps its distance short and its retries free, which is the whole of its generosity. The level is built around playing from the keyboard, and the checkpoints are close enough that a mistake costs seconds. The levels are short because the fun is in the route, not the length. We kept it because a bad run sends you back a few steps rather than to the beginning. For reference: 10.3K plays, 4.1 out of 5 from 319 ratings, and 59 of 183 on the adventure shelf.
How to Play
Three things decide whether a run here goes well:
- Keep a hand on the keys from the first second; the game does not pause for setup.
- Get through the route in one piece; the retry is cheaper than the detour.
- Quit while a level is still interesting and come back to it fresh.
Editor’s Note
Playable with a single hand on a laptop, which is more than most platformers manage. Little on these pages tracks progress between visits, so each level is approached from its own beginning.

Stickman Huggy 2 pairs two unlikely heroes, a lanky stickman and a cute blue monster, and sends them through obstacle-filled courses toward a finish line. It is a side-scrolling platform adventure where every level is a gauntlet of gaps, traps, and hazards, and your only job is to guide Huggy safely across. The charm of the game is in its simplicity: the goal is always visible, the rules never change, and yet the path between start and finish keeps finding new ways to trip you up.
Controls follow the familiar platformer layout. On a keyboard you move with the WASD keys, using them to run left and right and to jump over whatever the level throws at you. On mobile, on-screen touch controls handle the same actions, so the game travels well between devices. Momentum and timing matter more than button complexity: a jump launched a fraction of a second too early lands you on a spike instead of a platform, and the game makes sure you know it.
Progression is level based, and the difficulty climbs steadily. Early stages introduce one obstacle type at a time and give you generous platforms to land on. Later levels combine hazards, tighten the landing zones, and demand sequences of precise jumps in a row. Failing sends you back to try again, and because levels are compact, each retry teaches you something specific about the section that beat you.
Success comes from patience more than speed. Watch a new obstacle cycle through its pattern before you commit to a jump, since most traps move on predictable rhythms. Take platforms one at a time instead of trying to chain heroic leaps, and remember that standing still is free; there is no timer punishing you for waiting for the right moment. If a section keeps defeating you, slow your approach down and you will usually spot the safe window immediately.
Stickman Huggy 2 will appeal to fans of classic platformers, younger players who enjoy its friendly monster hero, and anyone who likes a challenge that is tough but fair. It plays free in the browser on both computers and mobile devices.
