PixZombies
Why We Picked PixZombies
PixZombies is short by construction: typing your answer until it stops working, then start again. The scoring is simple enough to argue about, which is the sign of a good one. Deaths are cheap and immediate, which is what makes the next attempt easy to start. It kept its slot by never asking you to learn anything that dying once would not teach. For reference: 469 of 500 on the arcade shelf, 5.0 out of 5 from 2 ratings, and 148 plays.
How to Play
The page documents very little, so these are the things worth knowing before you spend time on it:
- Reader mode strips embedded frames, so the game area stays blank until it is switched off.
- There is no ending to reach; the run simply stops, and then it starts again.
- Stop after a run that makes you angry; the next attempt is usually worse.
Editor’s Note
Sound helps, and sound in a shared room is the reason the mute control exists. It is over quickly, and the restart is the only menu you will see.
