Piggy on the Run
Why We Picked Piggy on the Run
Piggy on the Run is built from timing your jumps, a few checkpoints and a map small enough to remember. Later levels extend the map rather than the rulebook, so the skills built early keep paying. There is no inventory screen to learn, which keeps the pace where it belongs. It has been opened 23.2K times, and the retry counter is probably higher. The page's own numbers: 11 of 183 on the adventure shelf, and 4.3 out of 5 from 551 ratings.
How to Play
Three things decide whether a run here goes well:
- One key jumps; judging the landing matters more than the take-off.
- The exit is marked by the level design rather than by a marker, so read the screen before the map.
- Check the walls before you check the menu; most exits are drawn, not listed.
Editor’s Note
A short session suits it; a long one will exhaust the levels before it exhausts you. The games here are short enough that the back button is a reasonable way to leave one unfinished.

Piggy on the Run is a charming platform adventure starring a cute little pig loose in a jungle that is far more dangerous than it looks. Your job is to guide the piggy through level after level of forest terrain, dodging enemies and obstacles along the way. The jungle may be colorful and friendly in style, but it demands your full attention, because one careless step and the run ends.
Controls are classic platformer fare. Move with the WASD keys, jumping onto platforms and over hazards, with a double jump available when you need that extra bit of height or a mid-air correction. The double jump is your best friend in the jungle. It lets you clear wider gaps, reach higher ledges and, crucially, recover from a badly timed first jump. Learning when to spend it and when to hold it in reserve is the core skill the game teaches.
Progression comes through beating levels, each one a new stretch of jungle with its own layout of platforms, enemies and traps. The early stages ease you in with forgiving jumps and obvious paths, but the deeper into the forest you get, the tighter the timing becomes. Enemies patrol the routes you want to take, obstacles sit exactly where your landing would be, and the game steadily asks for cleaner, more deliberate movement.
A few tips will keep your piggy alive longer. Scout each level before committing to jumps; enemies move in patterns, and waiting a second for the right moment beats rushing into a collision. Use the double jump defensively, saving the second hop to correct mistakes rather than spending it immediately. And do not be greedy about optional pickups if grabbing them means threading between two hazards.
Piggy on the Run suits players who enjoy lighthearted platformers with a bit of bite, especially anyone who likes animal protagonists and jungle settings. It is free to play in your browser, so the jungle is open whenever you fancy a run.
