Let's Fart Brandon

Why We Picked Let's Fart Brandon

What Let's Fart Brandon offers is a platformer you can finish in a sitting, and it does not pad the distance. Nothing here is padded, including the ending, which arrives exactly on time. A good level here has a rhythm: a quiet stretch, a hazard, a moment to breathe before the next one. It earns the slot by being finishable in a sitting without feeling small while you are in it. On the record: 104 of 183 on the adventure shelf, 3.6 out of 5 from 71 ratings, and 3,324 plays.

How to Play

The page documents very little, so these are the things worth knowing before you spend time on it:

• Give it the full screen if the controls feel cramped; the fullscreen button sits beside the game.
• The exit is marked by the level design rather than by a marker, so read the screen before the map.
• Learn the checkpoint spacing before you attempt anything risky.

Editor’s Note

Good for a break and less good for a long evening, since the whole thing is built to be brief. The checkpoint spacing is generous enough that a bad jump costs seconds.
