Why We Picked Kly Kly
Kly Kly is built around the route through the level, and the level design does the explaining that the text does not. A small world with edges you can see, which makes it feel finished. The level is built around the route through the level, and the checkpoints are close enough that a mistake costs seconds. It ranks 138 of 183 on the adventure shelf, which is crowded with longer games. The page's own numbers: 4.8 out of 5 from 20 ratings.
How to Play
The page documents very little, so these are the things worth knowing before you spend time on it:
- Dismiss any download or pop-up a game triggers; the run continues without it.
- Get through the route in one piece; the retry is cheaper than the detour.
- Check the walls for passages before deciding a room is finished.
Editor’s Note
Playable with a single hand on a laptop, which is more than most platformers manage. A run here is a handful of screens rather than a world, which keeps the retries cheap.
