Fox Adventurer
Why We Picked Fox Adventurer
Fox Adventurer is built around timing your jumps, and the level design does the explaining that the text does not. The art does the storytelling that the script does not. It comes down to timing your jumps, and the game rarely asks you to do the same thing twice. We kept it because the map is small enough to remember and large enough to explore. By the numbers: 460 plays, 4.7 out of 5 from 17 ratings, and 157 of 183 on the adventure shelf.
How to Play
The page documents very little, so these are the things worth knowing before you spend time on it:
- Background tabs throttle animation, so keep the game in the active tab while playing.
- Get through the route in one piece; the retry is cheaper than the detour.
- Keep moving where the ground is safe and slow down where it narrows.
Editor’s Note
It suits players who explore for the sake of it and do not need a collectible counter. Most of these run on a keyboard or a pointer; a few accept touch, and none require a plugin or a download.
