Ball Thief vs Police
Why We Picked Ball Thief vs Police
Ball Thief vs Police is built around collecting what the level asks for while staying out of trouble, and the level design does the explaining that the text does not. The art does the storytelling that the script does not. A run ends at the hazard rather than at a menu, and the retry puts you within sight of the mistake. At 155 of 183 it is a modest entry, and it holds its place on level design alone. By the numbers: 4.7 out of 5 from 15 ratings.
How to Play
The game is small enough to explain in three lines:
- Steer with the arrows and let the game handle the rest of the inputs.
- Gather what the level asks for without falling into the gaps that guard it.
- If a route looks too easy, it probably skips something you will want later.
Editor’s Note
No account, no chapter select, and rarely a save: the level in front of you is the one that matters. The checkpoint spacing is generous enough that a bad jump costs seconds.
