Baby Hazel Backyard Party

Why We Picked Baby Hazel Backyard Party

Baby Hazel Backyard Party is a single screen with one thing to do on it with no timer, no score and nothing to lose. There is no wrong way to finish the screen. Few screens run a clock, so a child can study, abandon and return to one later. It gives a small player something to do with their hands and nothing to worry about. On the record: 730 plays, 4.8 out of 5 from 26 ratings, and 75 of 99 on the junior shelf.

How to Play

The page documents very little, so these are the things worth knowing before you spend time on it:

• Wait for the game's own first screen to finish loading before you judge the controls.
• Finish the screen in front of you; nothing bad happens if you do not.
• End the session on a finished screen rather than mid-task, and keep it short.

Editor’s Note

Little reading is required to start, though a parent may want to read the labels aloud. There is rarely a penalty for leaving halfway, and the page does not ask for anything on the way out.
